Your build date (RPO) is 10061, but with white click fit connectors confirmed, your original additive would of been DPX42 and this additive can't be mixed with later types, so this is what you need officially.

DPX42 was only used up to around late 2002.
On that RP number it should be Eolys 176 fluid which can have a white or green click fit connection.
If it previously had Infineum F7995 additive you can add Eolys 176 no problem without draining first.

I would stick with the official guidance:

Conversion chart for filling or topping-up operations
Additive present in the vehicleColour of clickfit on filler interfaceAdditive to be used in all operations
DPX 42Click-fit neither blue nor greenDPX 42
EOLYS 176Green clickfitINFINEUM F7995
INFINEUM F7995Green clickfitINFINEUM F7995
EOLYS POWERFLEXBlue clickfitEOLYS POWERFLEX
Your vehicle was an early (May 2004) build, so may still of had the old system fitted (using up old stocks), so this clearly states DPX42 if neither Blue nor Green.

I think your info may be out of date as it still refers to Infineum F7995 which has now been made obsolete.
This below is official guidance which also states the colour of the click-fit union on the filler interface is not sufficient to determine the recommended additive.
Only the RPO number of the vehicle can precisely determine the recommended additive.
One of my own vehicles has a build date within a few days of the changeover & has contradicting click fit connection colours to what should be on it.

Should i drain the old fluid first? Or can i just film it up?

If it has previously had Infineum F7995 then Eolys 176 can be added without draining the system first.

I have the latest available data from Citroen (Aug 2020 concerning additives) - not the older Peugeot one your are using which I can see is also dated, but the one I have is so new it doesn't even refer to the click fit connectors anymore, so is no good in this case if we are to still be using that system.

It does refer to the build dates and the additive names, but again there is this ongoing conflicting info between using the RPO and the click fit colours. Given that this car is mid 2004, I think it's safe to assume that the guidance up to 2014/15 which I used before is relevant for the year and the car having the white click fits - but yours does state the white or green unions which mine seems the opposite! :-D

If the OP is in any doubt though, it may be better to get it confirmed officially.

The issue is determining if this is a First or Second generation particle filter - if it was a second gen it wouldn't be such an issue:

"Vehicles initially put on the market with a particle filter additive of the second generation are to be refilled with an additive of the third generation. The additive to be used, 95 or EOLYS EXTEND, is specified in the vehicle’s repair procedure."

The Peugeot document I’m using was last updated in January 2021, the Citroen equivalent of the same document also has the same date.

Id say this car is way too late to use DPX42, it was only used on the earliest FAP equipped vehicles up to late 2002.

No problems - it's one of those lovely PSA areas that's as clear as mud, like their wiring diagrams tend to be :-D

I don't think either of us can be 100% certain on this one, so do make your own enquiries for your own piece of mind.
