I checked twice for this KML/NOMADE and didn't find anywhere. Can you eventually check it by vin if i have it installed by factory? Tomorrow i'm going to order RD45 and want to be sure :D

Your car had an independent telematic unit fitted, so the microphone link would of gone directly to that unit and from there to the Head unit.

I've just re-visited this topic so you do have the independent telematic unit fitted but not not the hands free telephone interface.

It is item (3) in this diagram:
image_2021-02-02_000040.png
The independent telematic unit has these buttons on the front fascia
image_2021-02-02_000128.png
To get to it, you'll have to Unclip and detach the independent telematic unit control panel (1) (at "a") using trim removal tools.
Disconnect the connector of the independent telematic unit control panel (1).
Remove the independent telematic unit control panel (1).
ITU F.PNG
You'll need to remove the glove box and the Audio Head unit. There is a mounting case to protect the unit (it is linked to the airbag control unit so be careful). Remove the bolt (2).
Unclip and detach the independent telematic unit support (3) (at "b"). But also remove the Fascia emergency call and service button unit.
image_2021-02-02_001414.png
This is what the unit looks like:
image_2021-02-02_000237.png
This is the 18 way black connector
image_2021-02-01_235929.png
So the microphone enters this unit first of all via Pins 1 & 10 and exits through pins 2 & 11 to the connector at the back of the Head unit. But - as you didn't have the hands free kit or RD45, you'll need to trace back the wires from there on pins 2 & 11 to see where they exit.

I just came back from garage. I spent there 2 hours or so to dismantle the glove box but unfortunately i didn't find any kind of telematic unit. I checked every side few times to be sure nothing there is hide. I took some photos how it looks without glove box.

I checked again the microphone beam that goes from the roof lamp through the A-pillar. These are two thin cables of light pink and light brown color as on photos. They are hiding somewhere near the bsi inside the dashboard, but it's almost impossible to see where there goes on or where they connect to :/ I starting to get frustrating, grrrrrrr. One guy from polish forum told me that this microphone beam should connect to some of the plug that is above the bsi. Later today i will upload a photo that shows all the cable harness and bsi inside dashboard (i mean all the cables under/near A-pillar).

Edit: I find out on polish forum that there are 2 options where microphone beam can goes:
1. To cube somewhere in the bsi? OR
2. To cube in the bsi and then to telematic module and then to head unit to radio.

While i don't have the telematic module, it means that microphone beam goes to some of the cube in the bsi and then it goes nowhere.

Where do people find out these schema photos like this?

In the right side in glove box i have only AUX wiring (three). And to the radio on the back, the white cube comes in with the aux cables (3)
There's nothing more there, im 100% sure. I think the microphone beam goes somewhere do bsi and that's all. But i don't know what's the point of it :/
Just take a look on my photos in previous post; you wont see anything there.

Hi Ventori

I have just re-checked again from your VIN and for some reason I think the system hadn't refreshed properly from another post I was working on at the same time - so really sorry about this, but looking again, for the sixth time I can now see that you do NOT have either hands free nor the independent telematic unit fitted - which is why it is not there!

This has happened a few times before too. So the microphone pre-wiring is there, but as to where it now goes without the independent telematics unit nor the hands free kit is anyone's guess. :(

I will send you a VIN report via email for your car so you can see for yourself.

I got it thanks.

But now back on topic; Assuming that I won't find the end of microphone beam (i'm already tired of these labyrinth of cables), it remains for me to buy a new microphone harness together with a cube, which I will attach directly to the radio?

Most people I'm aware of who have fitted an RD45 have just wired in a microphone directly to the back of the Quadlock.

Do you maybe have the diagram of total route of this pre-wiring? I lose sight of it at the end of the A-pillar.

Hi,

Unfortunately not. I ended up to buy full micro harness from aliexpress.
