Hello all
Just an update for anyone with the same issue
The car threw up all sorts of electrical messages and problems
The car has been OK no cutting out so hopefully another job completed
(special thanks to Marc.)
I just need to sort out the setting off issues now lol
Clutch switch or does anyone know any different?
Would I be better starting a new thread or continuing my old one on the subject
Thx
Regards
Steve

Is it manual or auto? What do you mean about setting off? Just give it more revs?!?

No worries, start a new thread for another problem Steve - especially if it's unrelated to this thread, so it doesn't get mixed up.

Ignore the P1351 - it's on most diesels and is the Pre-heating relay circuit Coherence - Relay supplied and glow plugs not supplied. I had this for the entirety of my X7 ownership.

Your P11AA is Turbocharger pressure regulation solenoid valve control: Incoherence between the command and the measured turbocharging pressure.

There was a lot on this fault for the same engine as yours Steve - have a read:

Though Alasdair never came back with a final resolution, but it may give you some pointers and avoid replacing parts unnecessarily.

Update

Post by Steveo »

Hi all
Well today was a bit of a revalation as some members know I have been having trouble with my car for a while regarding different error codes and poor running ie stuttering on acceleration, engine missing a beat now and then & anti stall symptoms when setting off from a junction etc.
Well today I decided as the fuel was low to try a different filling station (I started using the BP garage and only fill up there) and to my amazement up to now the car has run faultless.
The acceleration is there, no stuttering or anti stall starts.
I put £30 of Morrisons diesel in as apposed to BP diesel.
I am aware some members don't like supermarket diesel but if the present trend continues I may be persuaded otherwise.

A friend of mine said that he thinks BP mix bio diesel with regular diesel and if this is true my car may not like it or it may be something far simpler like the tanks have moisture or water in them, who knows?
Let's hope things continue the way they are.
Regards
Steve
