I can get a close enough wiring diagram without the rp number with a few more details, if its a mk 2 I just need to know if it has com2000 or not? Com2000 versions have the horn push on the steering wheel, models without com2000 have the horn push on the end of the indicator stalk.

If its a mk1 I need to know if its multiplexed or not, I can explain how to identify this if you say its a mk1.

Apart from the rp number being behind the locked door, that car is a 5 door hatchback, mk2

OK to operate the horn do you push on the steering wheel/airbag or is the horn button on the end of the wiper stalk?

OK so it should be a 6 pin brown connector onto the door lock mechanism?
The 3 wires you are interested in are pins 3, 5 & 6 which should be Grey, Orange & white. The wire codes to confirm should be 620, 6211 & 692A.
This will need a little bit of experimentation as the diagram doesn't specifiy which wire is which but these 3 wires are the motor control wires.
You will need to cut all 3 wires (making sure in an accessible place to make re joining easier). It looks like all 3 wires normally rest at earth so you will need earth 2 at a time then briefly power the other power the other, do this in turn for each wire. I doubt a 9v battery will be up to this, I would use a 12v car battery. A quick check to confirm if the wiring is ok first would be to unplug the lock mechanism & check pins 3, 5 & 6 are all at earth.
This is of course assuming that the lock assembly is not faulty, if this doesent work you need to start attacking the lock mechanism with a big flat screwdriver & hammer to break it open, make sure you have a new one to hand before doing this obviously.
