Hi, first post on here.
06 plate 307SW 1.6 Petrol
I replaced the heater matrix some time ago, which was surprisingly easy....until I came to reattach the hoses to the bulkhead pipe stubs. I managed to mangle the horseshoe-shaped clips and in the end replaced the pipes with 19mm heater hose and jubilee clips.
I've never been particularly happy with this and would like to refit the original hoses.
A couple of questions if I may:
Are the clips available separately, or are they only supplied with new hoses?
Are the hoses refitted to the pipe stubs with the clips in-situ?
Many thanks,
Stan

Re: 307SW Heater Hose Clips
Hi Stan and welcome.
The heater pipes are available separately. The pipe connectors that join to the heater matrix end already have the connection build in. The other ends are secured by Jubilee type clips. The connectors at the matrix end are not shown as available separately - only with the pipes.

Re: 307SW Heater Hose Clips
Many thanks, Marc.
Yes, I thought I might need to buy the pipes to get the clips. Not appealing to be honest, but if needs must I'll have to.
In the meantime, I'll have a go at bending some up from wire, but if I need to buy inlet and outlet heater pipes would you have part numbers for them? Maybe you would you need the VIN?
Cheers,
Stan

Hi Stan, yes I'd need a VIN to get the exact part numbers for you - but please see the info in the links in the table below - PSA charge for access to parts, so would need a Forum donation that would cover you for up to 2 years for any other info:
A response to your question will require detailed vehicle information that requires you to have made a current contribution to the Forum. |

That's fine, Marc.
I've just made a £10 donation.
Do I post the VIN on this thread or by PM?

Re: 307SW Heater Hose Clips
Ok, thanks for that Stan.
Here is the information you need:
Item (10) is the inlet pipe. Part number: 6466FW (£41.09 inc. VAT)
Item (11) is the Return Pipe. Part Number: 6466F7 (£47.56 inc. VAT)
Prices correct as of today direct from Peugeot or Citroen, although bear in mind they are also in lockdown at present.
(note: you don't have part (6) in the diagram fitted - just in case you are looking for it.).

Thanks, Marc.
What's the general view on the quality of aftermarket parts? e.g https://www.onlinecarparts.co.uk/gates-14357774.html

Gates are a renowned brand - they make the original timing belts for many PSA vehicles, so I expect these to be of OEM quality Stan.
