2008 C5 2ltr hdi 138Bhp wiring diagrams.
Hello.
I have failed to find a Haynes manual for my 2008 C5 exclusive Tourer, it appears they stopped making them just before this year/model appeared.
Can anyone advise of a source for the wiring diagrams so that i can see what feeds what?
Many thanks.

We don’t supply diagrams and they’re not publicly available, but I can post the odd one up as specifically needed for a particular system.

Thanks Marc.
I think at this stage something showing what ECU connects to which ECU. It would aid fault finding these "no communication" messages for a start.
Permanent stored faults I'm getting are ...... No communication with Audio Unit, and, "Passenger and drivers door mirror mechanism sensor inputs - short circuit to Earth or short circuit to Positive (09D1 and 09D0). BTW the mirrors seem to work perfectly but the fault wont clear?
Thanks.

Re: 2008 C5 2ltr hdi 138Bhp wiring diagrams.
There is a known issue with the driver door mirror control module on some early models that is intermittent and can be ignored.
Get your Lexia up and running first and then run a full test and see which one are remaining.

Lexia 3 connection failed and gives the report “No dialogue” on the global test. I have opened the Lexia and can confirm that at least six chips are missing.
Now looking to source a fully chipped version but it’s not so straightforward. Several of the supposed fully chipped models on eBay will only work on petrol vehicles (small print). Looks like it’s Easy Diagnostics and not much else!

The market is fraught with copies of varying quality.... - have you considered making Darren an offer?

Thanks Marc.
I’ll have a look at that over a cuppa. I have managed to find two other people supplying the “real deal” at a lower price.

Lower than £118 I meant.
Re: 2008 C5 2ltr hdi 138Bhp wiring diagrams.
Right, further to my earlier post, I am now consistently getting the same fault messages which refuse to clear having used 3 independent (and very expensive) professional diagnostic machines. The two that are really peeving me at the moment are “No communication with Audio ECU”, and, “Rear right hand side light short circuit to + or -“.
The reason they peeve me is that the rear right hand tail lights work perfectly and have no short, and the the infotainment system works great unless you try and run it with the ignition off, in which case it complains quite literally that “Something in the car isn’t working and I must shut down”!.
Would anyone have the location and diagram of whatever box controls the lights and a diagram showing the comms path for the audio ECU.
Many thanks.

First check to make sure you don't have any LED bulbs fitted (possibly by the previous owner), these will almost guarantee a short circuit error....
There's not much you can do - these are controlled by the BSI, except check the earths (shown where 'MC' is on the wiring code)
For other codes, check out the Wiki page where I have put the most common codes:
https://frenchcarforum.co.uk/wiki/Elect ... ring_Codes
Diagram for rear Tail Lights:

2632 : LH tail lamp on boot lid

Thank you Marc.
Re LED bulbs, the previous owner had fitted these to the front sidelights only. One had already failed and the other was on its way so I replaced them immediately with the blue coated krypton ones which give a nice white light.
The rear had normal bulbs in but the ones in the tailgate had blown so I replaced those with the standard filament bulbs. Despite numerous attempts the fault code won’t clear. I fitted what I assume were “standard” single filament bulbs in the tailgate unlike the dual filament stop/tail bulbs in the main car body. Can’t remember the exact wattage but I wonder if they should have been specials?

Oooh err!
Trying to remember but almost certainly bulb No 11 on assy B (tailgate). I think bulb no12 is the hazard lamp. BTW, all of the lights work perfectly despite the fault codes.
