All seemed very fire-proof even when one of the 4s blew up its voltage regulator and boiled the battery...

Not really. It's a 249bhp coupe aimed at Audi TT and Porsche Cayman drivers. It's got me as power than both of them too, and the Cayman monsters it too! It's expensive too - £51k!

The GTR is an all-singing all-dancing 4WD, 4WS, electronically suspended and controlled 580bhp 2+2 which is just about the fastest practical car you can buy. The fact it's £82k, faster than and half the price of what most people would consider a supercar makes it a winner in my book. If money were no object I'd have one over any Italian or German supercar offering

Nope (but I liked it anyway). What it is is that Luton has the facilities to paint vans (size dimensions), and that the cost of fitting out either the Germany or Poland plants with the required equipment would be somewhat expensive;

Nothing could be more absurd than what the Wilson government forced Rootes Group to do, build a new factory in Linwood Scotland to build bodies for the Imp mechanicals in Coventry.
