C8 Engine turns but will not start

Help - please - I have my C8 that was running absolutely fine and now will not start - the engine turns over but does not fire. I have had it transported to my local (trusted) garage and they cannot get their Snap-on computer to talk to the engine ECU - it will talk to all the other ECU's e.g. airbag etc. - it has been suggested by another garage that the 'Protection Relay' may be faulty but where is the protection relay located ? is this the Brown double size relay referred to in other (non C8) posts.

The other symptoms are - no fuel pump operation, no window operation

Any help would be appreciated.

I can't help but it may help if you can add some details such as what year, which engine and, possibly important, how many miles.
As I get older I think a lot about the hereafter - I go into a room and then wonder what I'm here after.

C8's don't have double relays as such, the injection/fuel pump relay is an integral part of the under bonnet fusebox. You need to confirm if the ECU has all its power supplies & earths.

Hi - sorry I should have provided the car details

2006 C8 Exclusive HDI 16v Automatic Diesel
113,564 miles

The relay I am trying to replace (once I have found it) is a 1920 7L - brown double relay - sold to me by my local Citroen dealer - it is listed on the Citroen Service website under Engine --> Air and Fuel Supply --> INJ CALCULATOR SENSOR --> item no 2

I am lead to believe that this is the Fuel Pump and ECU relay.

Is the relay I have shown not the correct one - it is listed on the Citroen parts list for the car VIN

As i said in an earlier post the injection/fuel pump relay is an integral part of the under bonnet fusebox thats probably why you cant find it. Did the parts department search for this part from your VIN??
