No tuning/chip box for me

Post by bernie »

Just phoned my insurer (More Than), they say anything that increases acceleration and or top speed will not be insured.
Apart from that they good insurers.

Don't polish the car or hose it out underneath then! Skip the diet, too.

Many years ago there used to be a programme on TV called 'Candid Camera'.
One stunt they did was to remove the engine from a car (cannot remember what) and coast down the hill to a garage for petrol. After filling up, surprise, it would not start. The muckanic's face was a picture [}:)][}:)]

You could always (((whisper))) Not tell the insurer - and if you do have a prang, remove the black box before the loss adjuster sees the car?
Just a thought!
