Using compressed air to blow the drains clear has been known to blow the tubes off where they connect to the sunroof drain, thus letting water inside the roof.

probably the transponder in the key buggered, have you tried the spare key? if not renault will cahrge you a few bob for a new one, or you could try one of the many alarm servicing / fitting places to re key your transponder (would be about £20 or 30).

Ever tried the rubber glove trick over the plug leads?
Take an ordinary (not the disposable type) rubber glove, slit the finger tips & feed the plug & coil leads through each of the finger holes.
Tighten them onto the leads & distributor and see what happens.

I've had a leak that has shorted the central locking receiver/blip in the ceiling. If I manage to fix the receiver or buy a new one does anyone know if I have to reprogram it to recognise my key fobs or is it a simple plug & play?

A bit odd for both to go at the same time, but sounds like the rear wiper connections may have come undone (the connection plug is a problem on some renaults) and at the front, well, if they are slow, then it may be the motors on its way out. Have you tried tightening the wiper nuts in case they are loosely fitted??

It sounds like your starter motor is faulty...if there's absolutely no sound at all, then check the live wire going into the back of the starter. Normally this can come undone, loose or just needs cleaning to get a good contact / connection.

Worn main bearings and a like can cause a severe vibration i say thi becuase youve had the exhaust checked, new engine mounts nd checked. Part number is R14426 and they are £7.80. For some reason the Shop lists them as being for the Clio 1.8 16v, but I can confirm that they are the same valve for the R19 16v.

Should be like most cars nowa days I would have thought, remove old pads, wind the pistons back in, replace pads, then pumping brakes should auto adjust the handbrake mechanism within the caliper.
Have yet to come accross anything different where the service and parking brakes are applied by the same caliper.

Hi, This could be due to a number of things. i.e HT leads, faulty spark plugs, or worse case senario head gasket. It might be worth checking if there is excessive pressure in the coolant expansion tank.

I got a 2.0 (8v) RXE auto a couple of months ago, drained al the rusty antifreeze out, flushed the whole system till clear water came out, re-filled with fresh anti-freeze/ clean water & now it seems to disappear without trace !!!!!
