I don't have knowledge of the Peugeot, but the issue of a loose connection is known with several makes of car.
I doubt the piece of plastic holding the cable to the floor will cause an issue with the air bag light, but an intermittent loose connection in the plug and socket almost certainly will. Check for a good electrical connection within. Look...

Hi I am a newbie, I have a 03 saxo and having big problems replacing the clutch cable, the old one broke at the plastic end that hooked on to the pedal so I took the old one off and have been trying to replace it and I'm stumped it don't want to go through to the hole on the bulk head, I can't see it or feel it, I think it'll be easier if I take...

It's easiest to jack the car up and do it from underneath, you can see what you're doing then. Should be a (relatively) straightforward job then. As Malcolm says, check it's the right cable.

I have an 05 Citroen C8 2.0 hdi with 86000 miles, it has developed a misfire upon initial startup.
Having viewed the posts on the forums, it seems possible to me that there may be an air leak on the fuel line.
Would this show up on a Lexia
I intend to replace the fuel lines and the leak off pipes between...

i do like the C8 but you realy need to be fully initiated into proper Citroens, as i believe/feel all Citroens after the BX are just Euro box's or Peugeots #-o :yikes: :-D :wink:

real citroens should be one on there own ( the likes of the DS, G's, CX's, BX's and dershies/2CV's/A series ) and not just badge engineering...
