Is it okay to go from 2.05 to 2.86 immediately?

Unread post by vulchaka »

Hello,
I have a Peugeot 508 2012 with RT6 / eMyWay / WIPNAV+.

Current firmware version: RNEG2.05.C.11

I would like the safest upgrade path.
Could someone please advise whether I should go directly to 2.86B or use an intermediate version first (2.80 / 2.85)?

I would also appreciate a known-good USB package (not RNEG/MyWay by mistake).
I understand I should back up my configuration first with MiraScripts.

Thank you.

Simple answer - no. Really not advisable.

My first question is why do you want to update? Are you experiencing a problem of some kind?

As you can see on the accompanying diagrams taking 2.05 past 2.21 means that you will lose some or all of your configuration. The official answer is to use Diagbox to connect to servers in France to download the vehicle's configuration/calibration. Mirascripts can do the same by saving the configuration before you start updating to a pen drive. There are no guarantees on this though. You do it at your own risk.

If you decide to update I have 2.31, 2.71, 2.77, 2.80, 2.85 and 2.86 as an ISO to burn a CD. I also have 2.21, 2.37 and 2.86 to put on a USB stick.

Hello, I also have RNEG2.05.C.11.
Can you send me the latest maps that I can install on this firmware?
