I should think it may do! :)
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

More a "Thud".....

What are you driving over when you hear this "Pop"

The rear bearings are well known for making a noise when going at slow speeds over speed humps etc......this is a known symptom that the rear bearings need replacing. This cannot be checked with the car on the ground as it is under tension.

I think Stickyfinger might be referring to the arm bearings, possibly part 7 in the diagram and not the wheel bearings.
