Unread post by pic_a55o+c4gp »

Hi,
I believe have an injector 1 problem on my misfiring 2011 Citroen C4 Grand Picasso. Please can someone supply me with full details on my engine type so I may get the correct part to replace it.
VIN No : VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff] Reg: VO11 CHD

Kindest Regards

Your EDC (engine designation code) from your VIN is 9HR. This appears to be either a DV6CTED or DV6C 1.6l itre e-HDi 115 and fitted with a Siemens common rail injection system.

Be aware that Citroen number cylinders from the gear box end and not the timing belt end as would be normal.

Hi Paul-R & PaulC5,
Thanks ever so much for the prompt responses and information. Can I take it that the DV6CTED or DV6C 1.6 litre e-HDi 115 would require the same injector part number?
For info I managed to borrow an Autel Autolink AL319 scanner yesterday so did a few tests and error clears and kept getting just one error code re-occurring "P0262 Cylinder 1 injector circuit High"
After digging around on the Forum and Google plus YouTube it seems there could be a few issues causing my problem. Maybe better to let a garage sort it rather than risk getting something wrong and screwing things up.
I will have another dig around for a while before deciding and or putting my amature car mechanic skill set to the test :-)
Many Thanks
Peter

Whether the injectors are the same, I don't know. Unfortunately we don't have access to the PSA parts database at the moment so can't be sure.
