Peugeot 107 2013 - Permanent 12V inside car

Unread post by RKN704 »

Looking for easiest place to connect a solar panel inside the car for maintaining the battery when locked and parked for extended periods.

Is there a convenient place to connect to a permanent 12V. Cigarette lighter socket no good as it is switched by the ignition switch.

Thanks in advance

Which 107 trim spec are you referring to? :)
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

A lot of these solar trickle chargers come with an OBD connector on them so it can be plugged straight into the diagnostic socket.
If it doesent have one then should be easy enough to make one up. Pin 16 is permanent +12v & pins 4 & 5 are earth
Blank connectors are readily available on ebay, Ali express etc.

Thanks for the info. I think that will be the neatest way.

Should I be getting email notifications when someone replies to my posts? Not seeing any at the moment.

You need to go into your User Control Panel from the drop down at the top right of your screen. Then select the Board Preferences tab and go into Edit Notifications and set them up as you want. :-D
