Hi
Could anyone please advise how to resolve the Sat Nav thinking it is around 400 miles away from where I am?
I have had two garages look at it and they have not been able to resolve, they suggested a main dealership.
Does it need updating? Is an update something I can do myself?

It could be a result of the 2019 GPS roll-over issue. Go into the navigation settings and find a check box for setting the date automatically, and un-check it.

It could also be the actual head unit which is not a cheap repair. A further possibility is that the GPS aerial has gone faulty. A fairly cheap test would be to buy a standalone GPS aerial to plug into the back of the head unit.
As I get older I think a lot about the hereafter - I go into a room and then wonder what I'm here after.

The satnav relies on GPS for its location information and so the first place to look is the GPS antenna. This video, although working on a Seat , shows the principles which you need to check first.
