Unread post by Croata11 »

AC fan inside Citroen C3 not working.

Is there some miracle worker that has the drawing if the fan circuit so I can troubleshoot it?

VIN VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]

Many thanks!!!

Do you have automatic AC or manual AC?

In an automatic AC it tends to be the speed controller.
In manual it tends to be the resistor or a burnt out connector on the back of the control panel.

It's got a display from which AC is controlled.

There is a Valeo module that I assume controlls speed. PCB with transistor and a big cooler.

Yes they have 2 green electrical plugs.
It's common for these to fail. If you know how to solder, you can replace the transistor that fails. There are a few videos on YouTube. Otherwise you can buy Chinese copies from Ebay and ETC. They are not that expensive.

That's the one that failed, it's confirmed, I bypassed it last night aand got the blower working. Thanks
