I recently refilled the Eolys fluid in my 2013 Peugeot Partner 1.6 HDi 90 and I am trying to tell the vehicle I have done so. I have connected up Diagbox 7.57 via a Lexia 3 Full Chip interface, and can perform a Global Test with success; all the ECUs are recognised except the engine ECU, which just says "ECU not recognised".
If I try to enter the engine ECU it asks me to choose it manually from a list of about 8 possibilities - but I don't know which is right.
I tried updating to Diagbox 7.62 and could update further if that's a good idea.
I can start the process of telling the vehicle I have refilled the additive fluid from the additive pump ECU screen, and it says I need to perform steps in the Engine ECU first. Additionally, during this process I get occasional "Communication error" messages without explanation.
I'm hoping that once I know which Engine ECU I have, and manually run the necessary steps from the list, it will work properly.
Can anyone please help me identify my engine ECU from my VIN? Failing that my specific DV6D engine model would be a very helpful start.
My VIN is VF3**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff].
Any help would be very much appreciated. Thank you!

Just try each one & see what connects
There will be a label on the ECU that will narrow it down.

Thanks very much, the label's hidden by metal but it's there.
The engine model I'm still not sure about as the label on the right of the engine is completely worn off, but based on this I think it's a DV6DTED (9HP) as it has a particulate filter.
Will have another go.

The engine code is in the VIN letters part. For example, our 1.6 hdi Cactus has BHY in the vin which I think translates to a DV6FD.
This topic shows the various engine codes if you go down it far enough but it is not up to date for the recommended engine oils, you need to check that with a dealer since they often change viewtopic.php?t=75919
