A couple of questions:
1. Does Android audio require the phone to be plugged in via a cable, can it not work via Bluetooth?
2. How can I access the vehicle's service history via the the DS phone app. I've set it up and registered the vehicle, the PO showed me on his phone the history. Presumably I need to download it from the vehicle?
Thanks.

Re: Android Auto / Service history
I need some details of the vehicle, this is a question I can't answer without knowing what vehicle you have and what equipment it has. Please provide your VIN. Please post your VIN in full without spaces - it will be automatically masked from public view after submitting your post & will only be visible to staff.
1) Are you talking about 'Android Auto' or Bluetooth streaming? - again, this will depend on what equipment / system your vehicle has fitted.
2) As above, use of the DS App depends on the system you have fitted.

Re: Android Auto / Service history
Sorry, didn't see that this was a general DS forum.
Vehicle is 2018 DS7 BlueHDi Rivoli - is that enough information.
Question 2 was about Android Auto - when my phones app such as Google Maps are available on the entertainment system's screen.

No, I need the VIN. Different vehicles are fitted with different options.

Ok, so with Android Auto it requires a cable unless Wireless Android Auto is specifically supported (refer to your vehicle manual - details of this are contained in there.
If you don't have a manual see this post to get one free:
DS Owner Handbooks
I've moved this to the Relevant telematics Forum now I have some idea of what you have, but really need the VIN.
Regarding the DS App, it needs to be activated and the relevant permissions given on the phone. Details here:

Re: Android Auto / Service history
A DS7 from 2018 doesn't have an IVI or AIO infotainment system, so no wireless Google Android Auto (or wireless Apple CarPlay) support.
BTW, those wireless protocols use Wi-Fi Direct, the Bluetooth doesn't have enough bandwidth to handle the video stream. You can use a wireless dongle (it connects to the car via the USB port, and your phone connects to it wirelessly) - see AAWireless, Carsifi, or Motorola MA1, for instance. There are other cheap Chinese clones, but you pay for what you get (no firmware updates).
That vehicle's service history is stored in the user account - usually it was the user that input that information anyway. So if you bought a used car, you can't see that "service history".
If the car was serviced in official garages, they might have that information stored in their Service Box servers. They always store warranty repairs and recalls. Not sure about the UK, but in the rest of Europe, it isn't always easy to get that information related to the previous owner (GDPR).

Re: Android Auto / Service history
You'll only be able to get service details from the moment you connect it, nothing historical will be provided.
