Original Part Number or Part needed please

Unread post by Old Berlingo »

Hi,

I’ve never posted anything before so I’m hoping I’m doing this right and apologies in advance if I’m not. Here it goes :-D

I’m after either an original part number or information where I can get the actual part for my 2001 Citroen Berlingo 1.4i petrol heater hoses/exchange hose. I’ll need to have it shipped to Australia so freight costs are a consideration.

I’ve had this little car since new and am reluctant to retire it purely bc of a heater hose, Everything else on it is perfect and it still drives like new.

Also, need the Engine Code which is different to the engine number would be really handy to have. Can’t seem to find it anywhere on the engine.

VIN: VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]

If anyone can help, I’d be so grateful.
Thank you so much

We can help if you need an original genuine part number, part diagram or vehicle factory build sheet and can't already find the info you need on the Forum. For this service, we do ask for a membership upgrade for official parts data as we are in turn charged for this. It will cover you for future part number requests for up to 3 years (pending continued service availability), so excellent value.

If interested, links are below, then provide your vehicle's VIN in full, which will be masked automatically when you submit your post.
A response to your question by a Forum Admin requiring parts or specific vehicle information requires you

Hi Marc,

Thanks for the quick response and note I’ve made a donation 😁

Your mention of a Build Sheet has got me intrigued. What information does it contain? I think I’m showing my newbiness here. Would it be handy to have for the future?

I know I’ll definitely need that original part number for the heater hoses and also the thermostat housing which I didn’t mention before. I just made an expensive mistake by not having that info as well as that elusive Engine Code.

Thanks for your help 🚗

Hi Marc,

Thanks for the diagram but the hoses I’m after aren’t on it. The thermostat housing is but it doesn’t show the part number.

The hoses I’m talking about go into the firewall and connect to the heater. I’ve included photos of them from two different angles. They’re actually joined to each other at the top end. My mechanic had to separate them to get them off that’s why they look like two separate hoses in the pics. I’ve also included pics when they’re attached to the firewall.

Oh yes, the Engine Code would be great too.

Thanks so much

Hello yet again,

Thank you for the drawings received. Both my mechanic and panel beater are absolutely thrilled your forum exists as it’s made their lives and subsequently mine, much easier. =D>

In this light I have two more original part number requests:

. The part outlined in red which attaches to the end of the Engine Water Outlet Tank (Part 1336P9).

. The rubber Guard Liner as indicated by the red arrow on the other drawing.

Thanks again. 😄

Both attachments are showing as completely black to me.

Please place part requests on the official Parts thread. I have moved your last request there and locked this topic to avoid duplication of work.
