DS5 door handle

Hi Guys

One of my touch-sensitive door handles is behaving erratically. Sometimes it works fine, then it won't work for a week. There's no rhyme nor reason to it. It's the drivers-side rear which unlocks all the doors.

I had heard that a BSI reset may fix it, but I'll probably stand corrected.

Please let me know if there's an easy fix..

No harm in trying battery off, but it probably needs a new handle. If you can get a scanner on it you should be able to see what it is doing.

I've had two go on passenger front door, one on passenger rear and one on driver's door, a reset didn't fix any of them and they've all been replaced and covered by extended warranty, apparently they cost about £6/700 each to supply and fit, including repainting.

Thanks for the advice all. Like the diagram DJ, I will disconnect it and check the connectors when it stops raining..

I've seen some keenly priced replacements on AliExpress, anybody tried one from there?
