After the fiasco of learning to bleed the fuel system, I have another question.
How do I get the automatic parking brake off? all was ready for a test run but it would not budge. I referred to the hand book. pull the brake lever (middle of the dash) for a minimum of 3 seconds. This done, it worked. Went to pull away and it reapplied it's self straight away. Now it's not going anywhere.
I don't think there is anythig wrong with it, Probably just driver not knowing how to drive a modern car, No good with computers either.

Re: C4 parking brake
You MUST have your foot on the brake first, then pull the lever briefly to release it in manual mode.
In Automatic mode, the handbrake should release when driving away.
I suggest you have a read of the owner's manual and if you don't have one, you can get one free from Citroen here, just follow the guidance:
