C5 X7 2013 OBD SOCKET

Hello all,

I have been trying to get an ELM327 talking to my car, so far it finds just the engine ECU. looking at the OBD connections it seems that my C5s OBD does not match the ELM connections. has anyone please got the pinouts for my C5X7 model . I have found one for 2009 at:

but just want to double check before I start changing the ELM wiring.

You should also be aware that basic OBD II readers won't be able to read all the fault codes for these vehicles, like most modern vehicles, as there are hundreds of constructor fault codes that go beyond the basic OBDII cdes, plus they often do not provide the full 7 alphanumeric code only the first 5, which makes i more difficult to pin down issues.

Serious and complete diagnosis for a C5 X7 is only possible with the Diagbox. Depending on the equipment, the vehicle has 25-30 control units.
Cheap products usually only recognise the injection ECU. Better diagnostic tools then recognise 5-7 ECUs - but they all lack depth.
If that's enough for you - OK.

thanks for the input. As it only has 2 CAN busses it will be interesting to see what it can connect to. I will put some feedback on here once I have done more on this, hope it will help others trying the same.
