We can help if you need an original genuine part number, part diagram or vehicle factory build sheet and can't already find the info you need on the Forum. For this service, we do ask for a membership upgrade for official parts data as we are in turn charged for this. It will cover you for future part number requests for up to 3 years, so excellent value.

If interested, links are below, then provide your vehicle's VIN in full, which will be masked automatically when you submit your post.
A response to your question by a Forum Admin requiring parts or specific vehicle information requires you

In the UK service box is no longer free and has to be paid for by the hour, perhaps in Germany it is still free so if you have time you could help out other people who request information.

For me the £10 is an absolute bargain. I use the site regularly, have received a lot of excellent advice, received help with part numbers and also I have been able to help others. This small payment helps pay for the work of admin who seem to spend most of their time every day of the week all year helping us all and helps with the payments they have to make to access the information we all request. Where else can you get all this for just £10 to cover up to 3 years ?

PS: I can totallly understand, if you want money for extended service like diagrams, disassembly handbooks etc. They're also not free of charge in the service box, but asking for money for the build sheet? That takes it too far.
I suggest you get your facts right before going on a rant and if you cared to read the parts information we posted linked in the request you will see that official Servicebox data has been a chargeable service since March 2020 (and in all countries, not just the UK)! [-X . This includes all part numbers and part diagrams as well as vehicle characteristics (Build data). The only thing that is free to access are the owner's manuals, of which we already provide easy links for owners to access these here, under Citroen, Peugeot and DS Auto Sub Forums: (viewtopic.php?p=616431#p616431)

So you can't of accessed ServiceBox for nearly 5 years. We have to cover our expenses. You also can't sign up now even if you wanted to without a VAT account and paid access.

If we were 'money hungry' as you put it, don't you think our site would be flooded with adverts? - We don't allow any adverts on our site, so please consider these facts before throwing unfounded accusations around here.

If less than one UK pence /day for access to all the technical info available here is too much for your pocket maybe you should consider buying something a bit less expensive than a DS , maybe a bicycle?
Seriously, the guys on here give their time freely to help us & don't deserve a two week old new member who comes on here to ask for help & then whinges about a paltry 3 year ten quid payment necessary to defray unavoidable expense of a forum which costs nothing to join.

6664213 wrote: 11 Jan 2025, 13:30 That's why I edited my post and wrote, what I wrote. I can get the build sheet and an account for free in the service box, but diagrams and technical handbooks are paid material. For me in germany is this a rip-off. I can totally understand if you guys in UK can't get any info for free but still, even then, the build sheet shouldn't be behind a pay wall. That's just info nice to have and doesn't take much effort in my book... Also real car guys really like to know they're cars more, you are making something more difficult than it should be, for a community who is already struggling because of car manufacturers and legislations..

@PaulC5 I would like to offer some help but I'm just a standard user. Unfortunately I can't see the VIN from others.
I am telling you it is not free - you are incorrect and if that was even the case, why would you join here to ask for it if you can already get it for free?? Doesn't make sense, because it is not true.

We have members here form all over the world including Germany that we provide official part numbers for from Citroen, DS Autos and Peugeot for the very reason that all their services are now behind a paywall.

I'm locking this topic as no further benefit can be obtained.
