Ad blue

Unread post by Mickw91 »

Looking for some advice/ help please. I have checked to see how many miles left before ad blue top, by starting car and pressing the service button. It showed 1700 miles, so I decided to put In 10 litres before it starts to show the 1500 mile reminder. When I now check it again, after start up and pressing service button, the ad blue light displays and it is still showing 1700 miles. I have given the car a half an hour drive on the motorway, to see if this would help reset it, but it hasn't made any difference. Would appreciate any help/ advice. Thank you.

I used a Peugeot Expert for around a year & done loads of miles in it, It would never show anything above 1700 miles left. Only started counting down when it got below this, If it filled the tank up it would just go back to 1700 again & stay there till it got low again, It used adblue at a normal rate & (amazingly) never had any issues with the adblue system.
I assumed the counter operation was normal based on this.

This is normal behaviour - countdown only reduces when it falls below this level. It’s all in your owners manual.

Ok, cheers. Didn't get an owners manual when I got the car, but thanks for replying.

You can access the owner's manual via this topic and then save/print/read them. Open the later ones as pdf top right to be able to save. Click on the flag top right to select your language then choose your car. viewtopic.php?t=63208
