MyWay/RNEG or eMyWay/RNEG2/RT6?

Re: Update Sat Nav
Check your PM for maps.
Or do you mean update the firmware?

Whoof, that's a bit of a delay in replying!Huskyxantia wrote: 17 Nov 2024, 22:05Sorry ive only just seen this, firmware , would mine be able to be updated with maps , firmware or both ?
As far as I can see there's no reason you can't do both, although not in a single update. They're two different things. See a few posts above for what I have in firmware although I would caution against unnecessary updating if you're not having any problems. Are you having problems? What version of firmware is currently fitted?
I can also assist with map updates. See the PM I sent you a year ago.
EDIT
Belay that. The PM refers to RNeg rather than RNeg2/RT6 updates. I'll have to PM you the proper details but let's get the firmware issue out of the way first.

Re: Update Sat Nav
When you say the SD card do you mean an internally fitted one or one that pushes into a slot just below the large centre knob?

Re: Update Sat Nav
OK. Then in that case it's not an RNeg2/RT6 unit but an RNeg unit. I don't have personal experience of the RNeg system unfortunately but what I wrote in the PM is correct.
I also don't have any firmware files for RNeg units but I would still caution against needless updating.

Re: Update Sat Nav
i'm am not aware of the firmware updates for the RNEG but it looks like there is a new 2024 map on SD for the RNEG. To my suprise to be honest. Last time i checked there was only a 2014 map.
