I changed a cam belt on a 2017 Peugeot 2008 1.2 turbo, the EB2DT engine (HNZ code)
Now i have it back together the engine seems to be running fine but i have the EML light on and its saying P0011 - inlet camshaft dephaser locking.
I used the correct locking tools and paid for to download the official manual from servicebox. The sump was removed, strainer cleaned, there wasnt a huge problem of debris despite it being on 70k neither the sump strainer nor vacuum pump were clogged or had noticeable particles in them.
One thing i noticed though is this
viewtopic.php?t=75919
I used it to select the oil but ive went for the HNZ engine code for "countries outside of europe" which suggests 5W30 B71 2297, but going over that page and now looking at the correct table for europe the HNZ engine is supposed to be 0W30 B71 2312.
I put the 5W30 into it, still total oil but wondering if that would have different enough properties to 0W30 to trigger a fault code?
If i had done any damage to valves would the car run poorly, ie odd sounds, less power and smoke? Bar the EML light the car seems to be driving fine.

Re: Puretech 1.2 P0011 code
Hi, did you ever get an answer with this? Currently having the exact same issue, had it apart twice to retime, pins go in no bother, cleaned the VVT solenoids, had the sump off, cleaned the pickup, switch the Camshaft position sensors to see if the fault moved but not them either
