Hi, I might need to remove the top hose from the radiator temporarily just so I can get better access to replace the clutch slave cylinder below. When I reconnect the hose would I then need to bleed the cooling system of air or can i just top up the expansion tank ?
if I did need to do it looks like this is the official way viewtopic.php?t=61693
However I've seen a few posts & vids where they just open the bleed valves until there's no air. Was wondering if in this case ill get away with just opening the bleed valves or do I need to stick exactly with the official method above?
Thanks

Yes, follow the guide in my post, as it will contain the bleeding and de-gassing procedure, which are mainly the same for most PSA vehicles, with the exceptions to Euro 6+ vehicles that have specific requirements.

Ah damn ok thanks for that. So i'll need to get one of those special filling cylinders for the expansion tank ?GiveMeABreak wrote: 30 Oct 2024, 15:49 Yes, follow the guide in my post, as it will contain the bleeding and de-gassing procedure, which are mainly the same for most PSA vehicles, with the exceptions to Euro 6+ vehicles that have specific requirements.

Re: 207 coolant bleeding
Well you'll need something equivalent to a filling cylinder if you don't have one.
Maybe something cheap like this, which has multiple adapters?
