Where is this leak coming from? (pictures and videos attached)

Unread post by Fred Timperly »

I noticed a puddle of oil on my under tray when I topped up my washer fluid. I’m not sure where the leak is coming from, but I’ve attached some pictures and a video to help identify it. Any advice would be appreciated!

Could be hang over from oil change, or leak from the housing, or leak from the clutch slave cylinder? You'll need to get it cleaned off to see where it is coming from.

I think the clue is in your second photo. Don't worry where it ends up just where it starts from. Has that cap been tightened correctly?

Yes I ask the stupid questions, because normally it is that simple.

Yes, it had a full service recently, including oil filter change.
