What vehicle and year are we talking about? What version of Diagbox software do you have? Is the hardware what is known as full chip?

Is there actually any communication with the ABS / ESP ECU? IN other words, when you run a global diagnostic, does the ABS / ESP ECU appear in the list of detected ECUs?

I don't think because when it first communicates with the car I get a choice to use the Diagbox or PP2000 I chose the Diagbox but got the PP2000
then a Menu of 4 choices: Diagnosis ,search fault, and erase fault last I don't remember. It's the first time I've used it but I don't think it has shown anything else that you're talking about.
Can i attach pictures? Wanted to show my Actis 9780.z5 otherwise you can se it here:viewtopic.php?t=83388

So if your vehicle is about 2007 or earlier, then it will default to PP2000.

You should first run a 'Diagnostic' and allow it to scan the vehicle. When it has finished going through everything, it will present a list of detected ECUs and any faults that have been picked up next to each ECU. You are looking for the ABS / ESP system ECU.

If you provide your VIN it may help me determine your vehicle's equipment and age.

Hi, sorry, but that VIN isn't recognised :(

There's certainly an error in the last 8 alphanumeric.

Hello and thank you for your help did you find any more information for my car? Have made another attempt today and chose PP2000 direct but I didn't manage to find how to carry out a diagnosis because in the menu that I get there is no diagnosis option. It's in French but I can handle the language (can you change it to English?) if there is a sort of tutorial it would be
Good find nothing with v9.129 exists for v7 but it is not the same even if maybe is the same

I can't help with these configurations of the software as it depends on how it was installed and no 2 installations tend to be the same. Your car was built 12th June 2007 so probably requires PP2000.

You have Bosch ESP V8.1 fitted.

A diagnostic should be the easiest thing to run.

When connecting up, it may ask for an RPO or DAM number, if it is not detecting the VIN. Your RPO is 11173 and you have a 307 Restyling Model with EW10A engine.

Once you have gotten to the main screen, you should see the main tabs and one of these should be a Diagnostic, which takes a few minutes to run. Without this you won't get very far as it needs to run a complete diagnostic to start with. Bear in mind that these 'kits' were never intended for the public - only dealerships where the staff have training on them, so there are no manuals as such.

This video may help - it's the same more or less for Lexia for Citroen

No, you don't want to search for updates - or it may deactivate the software.

What happens when you select the top option which is for Reading the BSI faults and BSI log. I suspect that will just bring up a historical list of logged faults. I still don't think you are in the correct area, and your screen shot is missing most of the display so I can't see the other options on the left - but I think you are in the wrong place and selected the wrong menu from the options.

I wanted to see the left menu - not the screen as you are in the wrong place to start with.

On picture 5 on the left there is an option "Test par Calculateur' that's the option to run tests on the individual ECUs. There should be a 'Global Test' that can be run on all the ECUs, but selecting that option will give you a system to test at least.
