Peugeot 3008 FM2 Aerial

OK. So code is definitely 0952 which means nothing but here is the description:-

Telematics 1 problems exist
1.0952 FM2 Aerial Fault. No Signal

Now! When I looked at it yesterday, perhaps on a different system, it said FM2 Aerial Fault. Short circuit to open. Earth.
which is a subtle difference.

Can you search on descriptions or Telematics codes?

On a C4 forum, I’ve seen mention of B952 FM2 Aerial.

In case this is inportant, I think the head unit is on 2.77?

Ok, so there is one for this fault. Unless using Diagbox, expect missing parts of codes.

Fault Code:	B952
Description of Fault:	FM2 aerial fault: Short circuit to earth. Short circuit to earth on the aerial FM2 detected when the current consumed is greater than 100 mA (Measuring of the current every 10s). Conditions of activation of the diagnostics: Multimedia system powered and active.
Conditions for Fault to clear:	From the disappearance of the short-circuit that caused the fault (On starting the system)
Downgrade Modes whilst Fault is active:	-
Symptoms:	No radio reception on FM2
Suspect Areas:	FM2 antenna Connection between the telematic unit and the aerial Telematics ECU

Note the FM2 antenna is screen printed onto the rear screen. There are 2 aerial harnesses from the rear of the RT6. One is for the GPS, FM1 and goes to the aerial base. The other is for FM2 that goes to an adaptor at the rear tailgate and then to the rear screen.

Was reading up about the internal microSD last night too so I wonder if that is worth dealing with at the same time.

Then leave it well alone Roger, but, as a precaution, I would take a backup of the user data files whilst it is working, as in future you may need these if it does start to play up and this can help restore the settings if the unit goes toes up and you have no access to be able to back them up at that stage.

Be aware that as you have the Panoramic Roof, getting to the rear aerial assembly is quite involved and requires removal of the rear crossmember (Blind Sub-Assembly) before you can get to the connections.
