Original Diagbox with token login issue (explained)

Hello

Recently I spent 2 weeks trying to sort it out Original Diagbox issue with login. Cut the long story short (all started on 16th June 2024)

Please skip update to version v9.149 (last working and tested by me with access to Serav and Ediag). I did try to update up to ver. v192 but this update is not working with Serav and Ediag servers. (lengthy emails and even phone call from PSA IT support ended up with no more answer from them after they deleted my norton360 antivirus and left me in the bushes) Have to work out all by myself. Even received a script showing what should work to have a connection with PSA servers but option 3 didn't work at all - had an access anyway.

First you have to activate diagbox to work with token (using X_ _ _ _ from your PSA account) then fill out forms address etc, then change language and language in emergency for English and restart Diagbox for changes to take effect. Then login into desired brand (AN _ _ _ + password for https://public.servicebox-parts.com), and at the end click F12 to do a connection test

Now you are ready to do some scanning etc.

You don't need an account with PSA for diagnostics - only if you require diagrams or configuration. As many people with DB 7.** have 'modified' software this will likely deactivate their versions of Diagbox so connection to PSA servers is not recommended - unless you are using their unmodified software from the PSA site.

Yes I know. But there is plenty of post regarding modified Diagbox, but there is nothing when you need an access to diagrams or telecoding and you are forced to update Bsi for example.
I forgot to add a docx from PSA with requirements to running Diagbox software

Sorry, I was wrong. PDFs aren't allowed either.

Wrap the file inside a ZIP. Providing it is not too large, that will upload.

Best for people to get the latest info direct from the PSA website at the time.

We'd prefer you don't upload this sort of material to the Forum, as it's really just taking up unnecessary storage and as I already mentioned, documents of this nature are constantly being updated, so serve little purpose as anyone that requires the official Diagbox software can already access these documents direct from the portal.

Hello, I spent about 3 weeks installing diagbox, but I always encountered the same result, after the diagnosis is over, it goes to the main menu and nothing is clicked here. When I do the connection test, the ediag and serav part remain unanswered, and the others have a check tick. First, I tried my own personal pc to install, antivirus and firewall did not allow it, I got an incomplete installation error, then I installed it by deleting the firewall without antivirus on another computer where I installed completely cleanly. After that, I saw that you finished the global test without any problems, but after it's over, nothing is clicked, I activated it with a token.

When I click on the user login panel and log in, it becomes green, thinking that I made a mistake in the password, my username IS AN... and I changed my password, it didn't happen again, I made my token code the same with the site login code (because I'm not sure which password you want) again the same result is clicked on anything. By the way, after activating the token, it seems on my service box screen that I still have not started to use it, what I may have skipped, I am grateful for any help, thanks.

I managed to install the official version 9.179. It connects to all services, after scanning the car I try to see the errors and it does nothing. I have purchased token/chip and I expect that after scanning the car when I want to see the errors and eventually update the modules it will ask me if I am using the purchased token/chip, but it won't even let me see the errors.
How/when does it ask me to use the token/ token purchased.
I appreciate any help.

What are you actually trying to do? You don't need a token for a diagnostic.

Why do you think there are updates for any modules? You should leave these alone unless you want more problems if you don't have a reason for it.
