Hi,
I'm currently looking at a 2010 C5 Tourer (2.0 HDI, manual) for a daily, but I've no experience with Citroen at all. Mostly concerned about the hydractive suspension and possible issues/costs associated with it as it seems like it could be a complicated and expensive fix if it goes wrong.
It's an Exclusive spec with 72k on the clock, 2 previous owners.
What sort of issues should I be on the lookout for?

Thanks, any and all help is greatly appreciated!

Have a look here for a members poll on faults for their X7s:

The X7 has not been in production for 8 years, so unique parts, especially for the suspension pipework / power steering pipes for some elements are no longer available from Citroen and members are locating other sources for these and indeed some are making replacements.
The other main issue is the steering racks on these for which there is an abnormal number of failures for which some of us were on our third racks!

Thanks Marc, I'll do a bit of reading into some of those problems. Regarding the steering rack, is there any early indication of problems that could be picked up on during a test drive? And do you know roughly what a repair bill would be for a replacement rack?

Racks are hugely expensive, currently a tad under £2k for a new OEM one inc. VAT, ex. fitting.
Refurbs are hard to find now as everyone has been buying them up given the issue.
The only tell-tale signs are a dripping or pool of LDS oil from the pinion which is where it tends to leak once it has rusted there and destroyed the seal. The issue then is that the power steering pipes have to come off and some of the low and high pressure pipes are no longer available, so therein lies one of the problems.
