Hey, so. I managed to break my gearbox. It ran dry on oil and now it sounds like you're pulling a metal container across the asphalt when I shift into first and drive.
That aside. I've read that these cars (Citroen C5 x7 2011, 1.6 hdi 110) comes in 6spd piloted (manual gearbox with automatic "addon"(?), manual and automatic. My question is. Since mine is a MCP piloted, can I replace the gearbox with a regular, manual one and just connect the piloted module here? or do I need the exact gearbox that I've got right now? (STT 6-SPEED PILOTED MANUAL GEARBOX)
I've also tried finding a sheet on showing me how to rebuild this gearbox, but all I could find was how to remove and refit the MCP piloted on a DV6S STT engine.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Citroen C5 x7 2011 MCP
I have a gearbox + engine of the same engine type that's been on a DS4. Its a 6 speed manual, but its been with a manual stick, so the question is if it can be connected to the piloted module(?) that makes my car an automatic in relative terms. Engine codes on the vehicle in question as well as the DS4 that the gearbox has been on is 9HR.

No, these are specific to the engine and system. You must get the correct one as there are multiple variants.
