Help Needed with Issues on My 2013 Citroën DS5 2.0 Hybrid Diesel

Post by MarkPatterson »

Hi everyone,

I recently took delivery of a 2013 Citroën DS5 2.0 Hybrid Diesel and have encountered a few issues that I need some help with. I’m hoping to get some advice, tips, and part numbers from the community to resolve these problems. Here are the details:

Driver’s Side Door Handle Touch Unlock/Lock Function:

The touch unlock and lock function on the driver’s side door handle is not working. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated.
Front Right Proximity Sensor:

The front right proximity sensor is not working, which has caused all the proximity sensors to stop functioning. Does anyone know the part number for this sensor and any tips on replacing it?
Passenger Wing Mirror:

The surround of the passenger wing mirror is cracked. I suspect this is why the folding wing mirrors are not functioning. However, the mirror glass does move when adjusted with the interior dial and the heating function works. Could a cracked surround really affect the folding mechanism, and what is the part number for the mirror surround?
Cigarette Lighter Port Cover:

The interior folding cover for the cigarette lighter port is damaged and needs to be replaced. Can anyone provide the part number for this part?
Rear Passenger Tyre Pressure Sensor:

The tyre pressure sensor for the rear passenger side has failed. I need the part number for a replacement sensor and any tips on the replacement process.
I appreciate any help or guidance you can provide, especially with part numbers and repair tips. Thank you in advance!

1) The issues with the hands free door handle can be intermittent or a fault in the Hands Free module located int he dash.
2) If there is any issue with a parking sensor, the Parking ECU will disable the whole system. Replace the faulty sensor.
3) Yes, if the fold-back mechanism has been damaged.
4) See below
5) You'll need to get this to a dealer or a specialist with both suitable diagnostic equipment and an exciter tool to activate and pair the sensor, which will mean reinitialising all four when this happens.

We can help if you need an original genuine part number, part diagram or factory build sheet and can't already find the info you need on the Forum. If interested, links are below, then provide your vehicle's VIN in full, which will be masked automatically when you submit your post.
