I purchased a camera to my car, part 9809301080 on Ebay, this was not the right one I discovered when I should make the replace.
The right part should be number 9812668580.
Is it possible to use it with a adapter from the model it is made for or with a modification ?
Any thoughts about this ?

This part is expensive from Peugeot dealer so I tray another way.
I has found a part with PSA number 9804632980 on another Ebay seller, he also refer this part to Reference OE/OEM Number
9812668580 who is my part.
The part is simular on the Ebay pickture but with another socket.
I am asking seller for conformation and he replyes asking for VIN number.
Do you think/belive I can use this part puting in the socket from my camera wire.

Ok, so the correct part for this vehicle with a rear video camera was originally 9804904080, but this has now been replaced with a later part number: 9812668580 - which is now the correct part. So if this is the camera you have bought, then it it the correct one for the vehicle.

Main question is: Can I use 9804632980 with exchanged socket instead of 9812668580 ?
It is hard to find 9812668580 to a price to beat Peugeot dealers.
The 9804632980 has a very fair price on Ebuy.

That is not the correct camera listed for this vehicle, so my answer would be probably not. You can't just go putting any old part on because it looks the same or is cheaper...

Marc, I have not referred to OLD parts on Ebay.
I can understand you are careful so you do not misdirect any to make damage on their vehicle.
My knowledge about parts and spareparts are there can be done small adjustments and they get another part number.
In Norway a rear camera is NOK 3800, £ 283, if I can bay a new working camera for £ 75 plus shipping and VAT I will do, total £ 115, NOK 1625.
I have done all the maintenance and repairs on my cars back to the 60's when I get my first second hand car, because I have the skill for it.
The advert on Ebay my car was listed: Peugeot 5008 Mk 1 (2009-2016) Interchange Part Number
9801730280, 9812585580 and Reference OE/OEM Number 9812668580 who is the right number for my car.
So I ordered the camera 9804632980, and now it works fine for me
Replacing the wire and socket to match my car was as in english " Piece of cake".
