Xsara Picasso 06 lighting switch.

I have just bought my second Xsara Picasso but comes with a few faults.
It's an 06 model 1.6hdi. the faults point to a new lighting trafficator sw.
When indicating left with headlight on ind flashes for 3 flashes and then stops.
Also noticed that foglights are not coming on which will be an MOT fail .
Obviously I can replace the switch fiddly but doable .
Various bulbs out on dash headlight mainly but headlights do work.
Previous owner said cigar lighter has a fault causing fuse to blow so will have to check that along with a weird rear screen demister which lights up when it wants.
As said elsewhere servicebox now wants money but have sedre on an older laptop.

Must say though car drives nice.

A follow up to my last post.
I have changed the indicator arm in the com2000 unit and lights inc fog front and rear now work.
Indicators now flash more than 3 times.
It would appear that the climate control (manual) version does not want to play.

I'm now subscribing to this as mine is an 06 but a C8, so should be identical in electronics. Was there a short somewhere with the wires? And does your service box have the right software to speak to the evil b*tch your trying to fix?

Servicebox/Sedre is for repair manuals/parts diagrams/wiring diagrams. The old backup copy should be fine for a 2006 Picasso.
