C5 lambda sensor

Unread post by Kristian27 »

Hi!
I have a Citroen mk1 2003 1.8L petrol car and just failed the mot because of to high CO in the exhaust at idle.

Checked the spark plugs, and they are completely white.

Im wondering whats the OEM manufacturer for oxygen/lambda sensors for Citroen? So im sure i get the best suitable one.

I have replaced the oxygen sensor 2 times since i got the car in 2019 and last time i changed it i changed to a bosch universal one.

It's been the culprit each time my engine has acted up so that's what im thinking it is this time aswell. is there any common issues with these engines that causes the oxygen sensors to go bad?

We can help if you need an original, genuine part number or part diagram, and can't already find the info you need on the Forum. For this service, we do ask for a membership upgrade for official parts data as we are in turn charged for this. It will cover you for future part number requests for up to 2 years, so excellent value.

If interested, links are below, then provide your vehicle's VIN in full, which will be masked automatically when you submit your post.
