C5 X7 - LED Sidelights running with main beam (Xenon)?

I'm upgrading from halogen to LED DRL and would like to know what is factory behavior of LED strip.

After some messing around with diagbox current status is

DRL - LED strip @100%
sidelights - LED strip @50%
main beam - LED strip @50%

I think everything in BSI is set as from factory. When I set combined DRL/sidelights illumination sensor stopped working, main beams were always on.
Might be too old headlight computer, my OPR is 11666. Anyway everything seems to work correctly if sidelights should be running with main beam.

Sidelight is not just LED strip but physical light itself that has LEDs inside? Because there is no bulb and I don't believe anything illuminated for me.

In manual for facelifted models there's nothing marked on location of previous sidelamp. Guy in video has been messing with his?

Yes he has been messing with it.

Also whether you have xenons or not makes a difference to the lighting as they have different bulbs and layouts.

Pre facelift models had a Halogen HP24W for the DRLs. The DRLs have one brightness and come on when the engine is started. I replaced mine with LEDs to match the Xenon main beams:

I later also replaced the bend lighting with the same LEDs.
