Hi,
I have 2 main issues with my C4 Grand Picasso 1.6 HDi semi-automatic 2011.
The first one is an ESP fault, after changing tie rod end in my car and setting up axis alignment I start getting ESP faults. I check it using Delphi Scanner and it shows the:
- Steering wheel angle sensor; incorrect value received
- invalid data
- Intermittent
----------------------------
- Engine control unit, absence of clearing of the ASR/MSR reference value
- Intermittent
Second one is DPF, I change already EGR valve (mapping done) as it was showing that is not working, that`s gone. Also DPF differential pressure sensor is changed. Unfortunately i still have fault:
P1490 - Particle emission filter, overloaded
- Permament
------------------------------------------------------------
P242F - Particulate filter clogged
- Permanent
Any ideas? I should change steering wheel sensor and DPF ?

Normally the ESP can be reset by holding the button in for 5 seconds.

Re: ESp and DPF faults C4
The ESP system will likely need the steering angle sensor re calibrated since the tracking has been altered.
I would imagine your Delphi kit can do this.

That has nothing to do with the system faults Ryan. Holding in the ESP button on older vehicles just disables ESP temporarily, but it will kick back in once a certain speed is reached or when the ignition is switched off and back on again.Rp0thejester wrote: ↑05 Aug 2023, 20:20 Normally the ESP can be reset by holding the button in for 5 seconds.
