Oil Leak

Post by lisasherratt »

Hello

I would really appreciate a diagram of the engine and ancillaries for my DS4 2012 as we are trying to locate an oil leak.

Vin no VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]

Many thanks in advance :)

Parts diagrams are too numerous for an oil leak issue at this time, so I've moved your request to the technical section.

First you need to get an idea of where the oil is leaking from using the following - each has its own fault finding procedures. Let me know which (A-F) is the most likely place and we can take it from there:

Zone "B" Upper face
Zone "C" Coupling face
Zone "D" Exhaust face
Zone "E" Lower panel

Apologies I didn't get a notification so didn't know this had happened, thought I'd just failed to actually post the question!

I will work it out and let you know! thank you!

Hi, so if I could have A and D that would be awesome - it's possibly at the corner where the two of those join. Its been really hard to pinpoint and we've tried lots but it doesn't leak wilst stationary, only whilst the car is being driven - has gone through two auxiliary belts so far...

Many thanks!!
