Does anyone know how much torque on the waterpump bolts?
I did 20Nm seems a bit low
Its a Cast iron block not the aluminium one.

That's no good to me, please post your VIN in full without spaces - it will be automatically masked from public view after submitting your post & will only be visible to staff.

Re: NFU engine torque specs
The official torque setting is actually only 18 Nm. Wouldn't dream of only tightening them to that though. I cant say ive ever torqued a water pump bolt. just tighten them with a 1/4 drive ratchet.

Re: NFU engine torque specs
That VIN is invalid and missing one alpha / digit and even with the 7 added as the third character, it's still wrong somewhere on the last 8.

Re: NFU engine torque specs
If you have taken the water pump off, you MUST replace the O Ring with a new seal or it will leak in case you haven't done so, as these are not designed to be reused, as they deform and will never seal properly if refitted.

Re: NFU engine torque specs
Several factors here - is it the exact correct part number and the quality of the aftermarket parts can be very hit and miss.
