I'm looking for a replacement (new or reman) for my steel suspension C5III 1,6 HDI 2010.
The original part number is 9673017080. I've found several new or remanufactured units with part number 9673173780. The pump seems to have exactly the same specs, listed as compatible with same model vehicle, year and engine type, and the connector configuration is identical.
Does anyone know if this pump would work?
Thanks,
-Thore

Re: Electric Power Steering Pump Part Numbers
We can only assist with internal PSA part numbers which may have external part numbers for which we can't provide an equivalent. The pumps are different as there are different systems used on vehicles with different engines.
If you need an original, genuine part number or part diagram, and can't already find the info you need on the Forum, we do ask for a membership upgrade for official parts data as we are in turn charged for this. It will cover you for future part number requests for up to 2 years, so excellent value.
If interested, links are below, then pop your VIN up.
But as said, we can't always provide 'equivalents' for the reason that the internal part numbers may not match up with external numbers.
