C4 coupe cables under centre console ???

Hello.
Can someone tell me what these are & if i should be worried that they're not connected to anything
2 cables found under centre console near aouto gear knob, don't know where other ends are they seem to disappear of into the harness somewhere

First thing is to look at the sleeving of the wires. There will be a sequence repeated every 5-6" or so. Let me have the codes and I may be able to give some pointers.

Thick one looks something like that nbut cant get codes off other wires not without un latting em

This is where they join into harness & seem to carry on & go up back of heater control/stereo

I can't help with the large one, but if you look at the thinner wires, the code numbers are easily visible for example where I have arrowed in red in your picture - just look for similar on the ones you are holding. Unfortunately the wiring colours are useless as PSA don't go by the wire colour (they use anything going) only the code.

That's my thinking looking at where other ends are heading .
As for wire codes I'll have to have another look i tried but couldn't make em out, half the letters or numbers were all smudged & didn't fancy un tangling em any more than were already & risk breaking something

Do you have a pic of the pins of the connector face on? looks like the wiring is in a sheath/flex so you wont likely get any meaningful codes off it. I agree it looks like some sort of Aux/ USB lead but cant recall there ever being anything like that at the centre console on that age of C4. Could it be aftermarket? do you still have the original stereo?

Yes still original stereo nothing after market.
No pics face on only from side
Can take some next time I take out centre console & post on here if it helps
