Getting lots of smoke after changing the injector 4 on a 3008. Tried two different injectors and same result. Any suggestions? The return rail is a bit loose but injector and feed in seem tight.

Does the injector need coding in and did it get done?
As I get older I think a lot about the hereafter - I go into a room and then wonder what I'm here after.

Hi Paul it does but it shouldn’t be smoking out the bonnet like that? I’ve never had that problem. Is it the injector seal?

You don't say what engine. On the 1.6 diesel you need a new washer & to replace the stretch bolt. On the 2.0 hdi you need a new washer. Both need the injector coding & then the adaptations reset bin Diagbox, not resetting gives poor running & over fuelling.
