Hello!
I have a 2017 DS3 1.6 THP165 petrol. Lately the windscreen washer has been acting weird. First, the fuse for the pump keeps blowing (F2, 10 A) when below freezing. I do use -20C washer fluid so not sure why it would freeze... Also sometimes it doesn't even try to pump front or back (can't hear the pump at all) when the fuse is fine. Then when I keep trying to wash the back screen (can hear the pump), the front starts working again. I guess it could be the relay as well but maybe the pump is more likely.
First I thought the one-way valve(s) might be blocked or failing (if there's any?) since it takes ages for the back nozzle to start spraying. But now I think the pump may be failing and that could explain the fuse as well. Any thoughts? I managed to dig out the part number for the pump: 643475. If anyone could please confirm that I would be very thankful. It's not expensive, about 10-22 eur for a new not original part.

Re: DS3 1.6 THP165 washer malfunction
The giveaway is the 'Freezing' that you mention.
Just because you use -20°C screen wash, that won't help the fluid that is already in the tubes and in the washer jets on the bonnet or wiper.
It will only prevent the main reservoir liquid from freezing, but not the smaller amounts that are trapped in the tubes near the washer jet. Continued operation of the washers will blow a fuse as it will overheat the motor.
If it's not operating under normal conditions, then yes, likely the pump.
