C4 coupe blowers on full speed only

Unread post by Orbit Motors »

Evening everyone, sorry if this has been asked before but I did a brief search and couldn't find exactly the right thing.

2006 C4 coupe, 1.6 petrol. Picked up as an auction impulse buy earlier. Only thing I can really find wrong with the interior is the blowers only working on full speed. Assuming this is a resistor issue, but there seems to be a confusing amount of different ones available.

I've had similar symptoms on stuff like Vauxhalls where the resistor is the usual sort of plug in one with the heat shrunk green bit on the end, but not really done anything on these to do with heating.

Is there a common one to go and is there any way to easily identify which one out of the many supposedly compatible ones might be right.

Thanks in advance
Cheers,
Miles

If it just about starts and drives, I'll probably buy it.
