Citroen C4 Grand Picasso Electric parking brake warning

Hi there.
Anyone have this issue before and where do I find the fault to attempt a fix?

citroen Grand Picasso C4 2016 Electric Parking brake (FSE) Actuator sensor: Short Circuit to positive, or short circuit to earth, or open circuit. Right-hand actuator.

Hi

The fault code should have some more digits afterwards, which you won't get when using aftermarket diagnostic equipment. However, the part of the code you have is enough to tell me that you likely have a rear harness wiring issue.

Check the continuity and insulation of the electrical harness between the ESP unit and the rear right and left brake caliper actuators.

If there are issues see below:

Check the rear intermediate electrical harness (1) in the area of the rear wheel arch on the side concerned: Release the wires from the spiral sleeve.

If there is damage, the harness needs replacing.
