How to identify what model engine is in your Citroen

Hi Everyone

I have Citroen C4 Grand Picasso 2010 Diesel and I have called the Citroen dealer and given them my VIN number and asked if they can tell me what model engine is in my car but they didn't know, i find this hard to believe.

I called Citroen the manufacture and i am still waiting to hear back from them.

Can anyone tell me how do i identify what model engine is in my Citroen C4 Grand Picasso 2010 Diesel, from what i gather it will be one of the 5 model listed below?

The 3 letter engine code RHR, RHH, 9HR etc correspond to the 6th, 7th & 8th digits of your VIN.

After taking in all your advice I come to conclusion you can identify your engine model by using one of the following methods

• Speak to Citroen the manufacture or dealer and ask them.
• Use an online VIN decoder.
• Ask someone for help on this forum.
• Enter your VIN into a filter or parts manufacture website in the selector guide, not all will do this but most will provide your engine model.
