Diagbox versions

Post by mickthemaverick »

I have been running V7.62 ever since I got the kit but thought I'd update as Gibbo has been kind enough to send me his disks. I have worked through from 7.62 -7.66 - 7.74 -7.76 but when I double click the 7.76 to 7.83 update it asks me for a password!! I have checked with Gibbo but he has no knowledge of it so I was wondering if it is some form of password that is known or should I just settle for running 7.76 ? :)
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Try
Passport : Maitresox01

Hint:
Updates higher than 7.62 are very rarely beneficial.
Very stable is 7.57.
The 7.83 update from "Simple" is only an APP update (old LEXIA 348) and makes no sense for the DB (newer vehicles).

7.57 - 7.62 is sufficient for PSA vehicles until the beginning of 2015.
and 7.82 until about autumn 2015 - only those who have to diagnose vehicles in this period should update to 7.82.

For newer vehicles up to 4/2022, software 9.125 - 9.129 is the better choice.

Greetings Wolfgang
